1.What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, and provide reporting information. We use the word “cookies” in this policy to refer to cookies and similar technologies (including local storage and pixel tags).
Cookies set by Skyblooh are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organisation that we integrate with (such as our payment processor) are third-party cookies.
2.Categories of Cookies We Use
We use cookies in the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Platform to function: authentication, session handling, security (e.g. CSRF protection), and routing. These cookies cannot be turned off without breaking core features.
- Preferences — remember your display preferences such as language, currency, theme (light/dark), and the country/market you last viewed.
- Performance and analytics — help us understand how users interact with the Platform so we can debug problems, measure performance, and prioritise improvements.
- Functional — remember choices you make to provide a more personalised experience (e.g. recently viewed ad spaces).
We do not currently use cookies to serve targeted advertising on third-party sites.
3.Specific Cookies and Storage We Set
The following are illustrative; exact names and lifetimes may change as the product evolves.
- Session and auth tokens (strictly necessary) — keep you signed in across pages. Cleared on sign-out or when the session expires.
- currency, country, theme (preferences) — remember your last-chosen storefront currency, market, and light/dark theme.
- Error and performance diagnostics (performance) — lightweight identifiers used by our error-monitoring (e.g. Sentry) to group related events. No payment or content data is sent.
Third-party services we integrate with may set their own cookies subject to their own policies, notably:
- Paddle (payment processor) — when you reach our checkout, Paddle may set cookies necessary for processing the transaction and complying with fraud-prevention requirements.
4.How to Control Cookies
You can control cookies in a few ways:
- Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break Platform features (including the ability to sign in).
- In-product controls — preferences such as currency, country, and theme can be changed from the relevant in-product selectors.
- Opting out of analytics — most browsers respect “Do Not Track” or similar privacy signals; we honour these where technically feasible.
5.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice in the Platform.
